Alternative Veterans' Exemption (disability add-on)
Reduces assessed value for wartime/expeditionary veterans, with an extra reduction for service-connected disability equal to half the VA rating (subject to local caps).
Base exemption requires qualifying wartime service; the disability add-on scales with any rated percentage. A new full exemption for 100% disabled veterans applies to rolls on/after Oct 1, 2026. Local amounts vary.
