A presumptive condition needs no medical nexus, so it’s often the fastest path to a grant. Check where and when you served to see what you may qualify for.

Did you serve in Vietnam, the Korean DMZ, Thailand, or another Agent Orange (herbicide) location?Did you serve in the Gulf War / Southwest Asia (Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, etc.) on or after Aug 2, 1990?Were you exposed to burn pits or airborne hazards (Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.) — generally service after Aug 2, 1990?Did you serve at Camp Lejeune / MCAS New River for 30+ days between Aug 1953 and Dec 1987?Were you exposed to ionizing radiation (atmospheric nuclear tests, Hiroshima/Nagasaki occupation, gaseous-diffusion plants, etc.)?
